During the pandemic I started a new digital art business, Honey Hill Digital offering digital watercolor art while my photography studio was closed. It combines my love for art with my graphic design and photo editing skills and I'm pretty proud of what I've taught myself, especially since I really just learned so I could paint a portrait of my cat George, the handsomest man in all the land! I work from a photo to create a digital watercolor painting of people, places, and probably most popular PETS! The final product is printed on watercolor paper on an art printer. I accept commissions and also have an art print collection featuring scenes and symbols of my home, North Carolina.
As I prepared to reopen my photography studio and wanting to simplify my branding, I realized how much I loved the name and how special it was to me, so Honey Hill Digital Art Studio was born! I'll still specialize in boudoir photography but of course I'll continue to offer regular portrait sessions for my long term clients and new friends I meet along the way, and I also continue doing digital watercolor artwork. You might see me at some of your favorite craft events & bazaars this fall with that new adventure!
